I LOVE food, am quite obsessed with it and think about it all the time. I travel all around the city and country to find the best, most interesting, and sometimes craziest culinary creations. So I created this blog to share my experiences.
Were it not for my obsession with running, I would have one hell of a weight issue on my hands as I will eat or drink nearly anything (see this as proof).
What do I do (besides write this blog five days a week?)? Well, I work in the industry and have my hands in nearly everything…as a freelance food writer, media consultant, brand manager for Chefs and restaurants, and food blogger. In previous jobs I have worked as a line cook and in marketing for an upscale meat distributor.
A few years ago, I began documenting my visits to every restaurant I eat at in this wonderful city and beyond. After every meal I detail its location, my meal, my dining companions, and any other details. Since I’ve been documenting this since 2007 it’s hardly a surprise that I am on book #4! It serves as an invaluable asset and gives me a peek into my social life and relationship with food.
Please! Do not hesitate to ask questions, seek out my recommendations, and join me as I eat my way around the city! I can always use a restaurant companion….there are only so many times I can drag the same people out to restaurants before they have to take a beat.
