Check it Out Portland: Breakside Brewery has arrived!

Listen up Portland Readers….a new brewery/restaurant has unfurled itself onto the Portland scene that you MUST check out!

The brainchild of my dear friend Scott Lawrence and his partner Tony Petraglia, Breakside is the newest addition to the up and coming Woodlawn neighborhood on the outskirts of Portland.

With a large selection of guesting craft beers on tap (Lagunitas, Oskar Blues, Elysian, Victory, Wandering Aengus, Firestone Walker, among others) and a menu that goes above and beyond “bar food” (Pork Belly Sandwiches, Breakside Burger with Ground Kobe, Rogue Blue Cheese Waffle Fries, Steamer Clams, and Fried Pickles), Breakside is the perfect spot to relax and hang out with friends.

If last weeks opening weekend is any indication of the future (packed to the gills), then Breakside will be serving the Portland community delicious food and great beer for years to come!

Watch this space as Breakside will soon be brewing their own specialty beers with the help of lead brewer Ben Edmunds.
