What? No plans for the very sunny weekend we are supposed to have here in NYC? Well, grab a friend (or ten) and hit up the Taste of Tribeca or Taste of Williamsburg/Greenpoint!
Taste of Tribeca:
Founded in 1994 by parents of two school children who attended local public schools PS 150 and 234, the Taste of Tribeca was created to showcase the vibrant community and also raise money for much-needed arts and enrichment education programs at area schools.
Hit up Tribeca (Duane and Greenwich Streets) this Saturday May 15, 2010 from 11:30-3:00 pm (rain or shine) to check out the delicious bounty of food being offered from local restaurants like Bar Artisanal, Billy’s Bakery, The Harrison, The Palm, Marc Forgione, Tribeca Grill and so many more!
Purchase a “General Taste” ticket which entitles you to any six taste dishes in the festival. But choose your taste wisely, as it is quite likely that some outstanding dishes will be served! Tickets are $40 with advanced purchase and $45 for day of so instead of going to brunch, hit up Taste of Tribeca!
